Why Midway Men

Men need support too.

We live in a world that tells men to have it all figured out — to provide, to stay strong, and to handle it on their own. So many men carry their struggles with drugs and alcohol in silence, because asking for help feels like failing.

It isn't. Asking for help is where strength starts. Midway Men gives men the time, the tools, and a brotherhood to rebuild — with expert care, around-the-clock structure, and people who understand.

We are not hiding. We are healing.

Who we are

Stories of recovery

Voices of transformation.

The words of the men who walked through our doors — and rebuilt their lives on the other side.

For years I tried on my own — rehab, cold turkey, relapse, guilt, repeat. Midway was the first time I felt truly understood and supported. The counselors helped me face trauma I'd buried for decades. Now I volunteer, reconnect with my family, and live a life I'm proud of.
E
E. ColeA new chapter: Edward's story
My substance use cost me everything — finances, trust, health. Midway gave me more than sobriety: they gave me a chance to heal mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Today I'm building a new life rooted in integrity.
R
R. MitchellA new chapter: Robert's story
I came to Midway feeling hopeless and ashamed. They showed me recovery is so much more — about relearning trust, self-worth, and purpose. I wake up now with purpose, not pain.
D
D. BrooksA new chapter: Damon's story
When I first arrived, I couldn't hold a conversation without guilt or fear of judgment. Midway showed me respect, empathy, and consistency. I'm working, my family trusts me, and I feel grounded in who I am.

Admissions

Starting recovery is simpler than you think.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You just need to make one call. Our team handles the rest — with confidentiality, compassion, and no obligation.

1

Call or contact us

Reach out by phone or email — 24/7. Your conversation is confidential and completely no-obligation.

2

Speak with a team member

A team member will listen and discuss which program is the right fit — residential treatment or outpatient services.

3

Complete a pre-screen

We begin with a brief pre-screen to learn more about your needs and determine whether Midway may be a good fit. If it looks like we may be a good match for each other, you will be invited for an in-person interview so we can meet, answer questions, and talk through the program together. A current TB and RPR screening is required before admission.

4

Arrange your arrival

We'll walk you through what to bring and what to expect — so your first day feels like a fresh start, not a hard start.

5

Begin your recovery journey

From day one, you're surrounded by structure, support, and a community of men who understand — and who are rooting for you.

All conversations are 100% confidential. We never share your information without written consent. SAMHSA National Helpline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357) — free, confidential, 24/7.
